Membership Terms & Policies

Membership Terms & Policies
• Membership begins on the date of sign-up and is valid for 12 consecutive months.
• At the end of the 12-month period, the membership will auto-renew for another 12 months unless canceled in accordance with the cancellation policy.
Cancellation Policy
• Cancellation within the 12-month term is subject to a fee of $70.00 per month used.
• Example: If you cancel after 6 months, the cancellation fee will be $420 (6 x $70).
• Cancellation requests must be submitted via email to info@thefitnesslab.ca.
• No refunds will be issued for partial months of membership.
Membership Auto-Renewal
• The membership will automatically renew for another 12-month term unless written notice of cancellation is provided at least 30 days prior to the renewal date.
• Upon renewal, the same terms, pricing, and benefits will apply unless otherwise notified by The Fitness Lab.
Payment Terms
• Membership fees will be billed monthly via the payment method provided at sign-up.
• It is the member’s responsibility to keep payment details up-to-date.
• Declined payments may result in suspension of membership benefits until payment is resolved.
Membership Hold Policy
• Members may place their membership on hold for up to 2 weeks within a 12-month period for travel or medical reasons.
• Requests for membership holds must be submitted in writing at least 7 days in advance.
Buddy Passes
• Members receive 10 buddy passes per contract year.
• Bring a friend to enjoy a workout. Email info@thefitnesslab.ca to arrange.
Terms of Use
• Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.
• Members must comply with all studio rules and regulations.
Liability Waiver
• By participating in group fitness classes and utilizing services under the Formula Membership, members acknowledge and assume all risks associated with physical exercise.
• Members waive The Fitness Lab from liability for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred.
Termination by The Fitness Lab
• The Fitness Lab reserves the right to terminate memberships for any member found in violation of studio policies or terms.
• No refunds will be provided for terminated memberships.
